Pigeon in Flight (pics)
Here are some pictures my ever-so-talented mom took of Mollie a couple of weeks ago. I wish I was so talented with a camera!
I don't know why they are all different sizes...I can't make the small ones any bigger either! Oh well...        And Mollie with her kitty, Simon

Don't you just hate it when the technology just doesn't co-operate?

I just love Molly. She is about the prettyest pigeon I have ever seen. I know I've probably asked you before but I don't remember, what kind of bird is she? Can you hold and pat her? Does she bite? She's obviously trained to fly back to you right? Does she live in a cage, play with toys etc

Looks like a normal, everyday "city" pigeon to me, but I know nothing about them, except that my eldest son thinks of them as "rats on wings". What's he know, anyway? This is the kid who, at age 24, ran screaming away from Bob when Bob took fright and flew in son's direction to escape a camera flash.... LOL!
Anyway, love the stop-motion pix. Is your mom using film or digital? What shutter or film speed was she using? Very nice! Also, I just LOVE the pic of the pigeon and her cat :-).
