I'm not really sure. I adopted her exactly one year ago tomorrow and they said she was about 2. So we say she is 3 now.
Her first owners kept her in her cage for 18 months straight and never handled her. Even after being fostered for 6 months in rescue, she was very feisty when she came home. I was bruised and bitten!

She was missing a lot of feathers around her eyes because she had a habit of scratching them out of boredom.
She looks so much better a year later and is a joy. She has an incredible vocabulary and loves to chatter to herself. She has learned how to play "dead bird" and hang upside down on my hand. We are working on flapping her wings, still.
