I Miss My Pita !!

Just got back from dropping him off at the vet for boarding until wednesday......:sob: (I'm leaving for So Calif. to surprise my Mom on her 90th b-day)

His cage there looks like his cage at home, I brought that many toys...LOL He'll have lots of friends. Cockatoos, other conures, an Ekkie, and lots of people. I'm also have a full panel done on him, and a check up.

I MISS HIM....I CRIED WHEN I LEFT. He didn't want to leave my shoulder.....and the look on his face when I left.......

WILL HE STILL LOVE ME???

Smile Don't worry

He'll be fine and yes, he'll still love you. My husband was gone for three days on a business trip to Chicago. He goes on these about once every 6 weeks. Corina goes gaga for him when he comes home (although there was a hard bite to his finger when he got home this time as if to say "thanks for leaving me with the incompetent strumpet!") and was all over him, cuddling right up under his chin while he sat on the couch.

Pita will still love you -- he will know how good he has it when you come home and spoil him rotten. And it is really special to be able to spend such a milestone bday with your mom. Hope you fly out to Southern California for my 90th in a few decades

LOLOLOL reminds me when i picked up valo after my christmas trip last year.... they brought him out, i was all excited - he looked at me.... and turned around (only lasted for a minute or so though, then it was snuggle time)

gayla, pita will be fine - it's only a few days too.... it's like birdie camp and he will always love you (remember those 5 weeks... everytime he heard your voice he was all happy)

Yeah, and LaBondes doing the panel, check up & blood work. Nothings wrong with him (I hope), just his yearly check up.

I just talked to my Mom and she said it's been raining....she also said all she wants to do this weekend is lay around....well, guess what.....SURPRISE!
