Smile I'm Gonna Be a Daddy Again!!

Male Red Bellied in da house!! Well okay, he's not really in da house yet, but he will be in a couple of weeks. I've been thinking about adding another bird for a while now, something of the Poi persuasion. Happened to see an add on the web for this fellow, and he's only like five hours away. I haven't met him yet, but he's four months old, and according to the breeder, he already mimics and is talking a few words. I ordered the new cage Friday!

Possible name: "Tausi" (Tossie). I like names with some geographical significance.....hence "Quito" (capital of Ecuador) for the GCC. Tausi is Swahili for Peacock.

Without further ado,......heeeres Tausi!

I haven't broken the news to Quito yet.

How funny & sweet! - you ordered the cage right away!
The pic is pretty persuasive. Hard to resist that guy. Hope Quito like his new brother.
All the best

Thanks all!! Now comes the wait for the cage to arrive, and then re-arrange furniture and get everything set up.

I know how you feel regarding the wait!! It seemed like forever before Tristan was finally going to come home. Since she's in Spencer's old cage for now, I wasn't too worried about when her cage arrived. I've had it for a couple of weeks now, but haven't put it together yet. I've rearranged the living room, so there will be room for her cage.

Congrats on your new baby!! He's awesome!!
