got a birdy on my shoulder and I can't get it off

So, I go to this bird fair, looking for gouldian finches. No gouldians, but one toy vendor had a batch of rescue tiels. I fell in love with an older female pearl. Never had a tiel before, been thinking about getting one for some time. Thinking, thinking, thinking . . .

She's now sitting on my shoulder and preening my nasty think curly hair. And she's having such a good time, I can't get her off!

I hope she gets sick of it eventually, cuz sooner or later I'll have to put her back in the quarrantine cage, then change clothes and clean everybody else's cage.

Finally got her off, with much trouble. Changed clothes, got washed up, and went to tend to the other birds.

So, I was carrying Uncle Molly budgie around, and realized I'd forgotten to shut the door to the quarrantine room. Paused in the doorway to close it . . . and Uncle Molly took off flying and landed on the quarrantine cage.

So much for quarrantine.
