what does it mean when the bird bobbles his head up and down. he does this all the time to my husband i have a gcc thanks

I don't know anything specific about gcc's. But for parrots in general, head-bobbing usually is begging for food if the bird is a baby. If the bird's an adult it could be a courtship gesture, especially if it's a male. Some birds will also bob their heads just to get attention.

You bird is a happy one. It shouldn't be viewed as an aggressive gesture.
That is a normal thing the GCC's do.

Seymour Bobbles his head up and down when he hears music. We encourage him to dance cause its really funny.

Arthur used to do it when he wanted his handfeeding.

Bob still does it, and from him, it's an affectionate gesture :-).
