Last night was the night......

...... that I introduced Spencer and Tristan. For the most part, things went well. Spencer proved himself to be a bit of a bully. He definitely let her know WHO was the first born!! He had her running to the safety of Daddy's arms.

After "playing" together for a little, it was time for dinner. I decided to take them both downstairs to feed them. I had been feeding Tristan in her quarantine cage. She did fine eating downstairs.

After dinner is when the "fun" began. I couldn't keep Tristan on her playgym. Everything is pretty close, so she easily jumped from her gym onto her cage. Guess where she went from there? Right over to Spencer's playstand. That is where she let the "first born" know who is the BIGGEST!!! It was quite to scene.

Needless to say, I'm going to be quite busy with these 2!!

Luckily, the playgym came with a ceiling guard. If not, I'd be in trouble!!!

Great story and photos

They seem to be getting along very well together that's great.

I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with them and stories for us about what they're getting up to And of course - need I say it - we need more photos

Love the pix. I didn't realize that the size difference between a Timneh and a CAG was so marked!

Awesome pair!
It's really nice seeing both Congo & Timneh types too.
Tristan tail is so beautifully bright!
Can ya get a back shot of them? One that shows those distinctive tailfeathers of both of them. ;)

LOL! As my daughter put it:
"Spencer's tail feathers are the same color as cape of the new Superman (Brandon Routh) ,
where as Tristan's tail looks more like cape from the last Superman (Christopher Reeves).

toooo cute for words.....

you will be kept busy...take it from someone who knows....and knows greys**LOL**

Tristan will cop an attitude....you will see that someday**LOL**
She will be a girl, through and through. Just Like Miss Emma, and other female greys I know.

Otis my tag, and Sampson my Cag, got along ok...but otis would snap at him if they got the chance. Sam was a baby, so he didnt have a mean bone in his body. Otis was a teen, and he was set in his ways.

None of my Cags get along now,not even Sydney and Emma even tho they are close in age..... cuz, Emma's got that tude. Stirling is the Big Brother, and the one who teases everyone. Sydney is the momma's boy and will be good unless provoked. Emma just has a tude....and gives them all the evil eye, before her attack....(fake of course...but she doenst know it)
She runs at them like the soliders in the march of the wooden soldiers. Legs straight out in front...its the funniest thing....she thinks shes fast...but in reality, I always have time to intervien.

mark my words....someday ..your gunna laugh...and say whats with this female?????: ...but the ride will be a fun one!

...I have this gut feeling there maybe more than one Grey in my future. And Bella is just the start but for now she's going to be the only one, and somewhere down the line a small dog. She'll need someone to boss about. :)

Size wise, Tristan is a big girl. But, weight wise..... There are definitely bigger Congos. When I went to Bird Paradise a couple of weeks ago, I saw a Congo that was around Spencer's size. So yeah, they can really vary in size.
