Question Tail Shaking!

what does it mean when a parakeets tail is not waggin but shakign? and what does it mena if it is waging?

describe shaking vs. waging. When a bird shakes it's tail back and forth, it's almost as if it's giggling (sorta).

Would help if you could explain this more in detail. Tail shaking (tail feathers spread out and moving from side to side) is a way to readjust the feathers in the tail, and is normally a sign of happiness. As for the other one, best if you can describe what you mean by it.
