Thoughts and prayers for my Mikey bird if you don't mind

Mikey is in the vet's office right now as I type this. I took him in on Wednesday for a check up and something about him made my vet worry. She did some xrays and found a mass in his abdomen. She says not to worry too much, as it might not be cancerous, but he is going under the knife today to take a biopsy.

So here I sit, waiting the call for them to let me know when he has woken up from the proceedure. I can't help but think of him...she said that all of her bird patients that go under wake up relatively fast and are fine. She has only lost one bird doing this...

Keep him in your thoughts and prayers today if you don't mind.

Dani

Mikey is out of surgery and is in the 'tank' to wake up...she will update me when he is awake and alert.

We will know the results in a few days...

Keep up the good thoughts...he could use them

The vet wants to keep him overnight, which I said yes to. He is awake but groggy...will be seeing him after work. I am counting the hours until I get to leave here and see him.

Looks like he made it through the surgery just fine, now to await those results...I am just having flash backs to all I went through before with Bodi. Just makes me sick to know that I still might loose him to due previous neglect to give him the diet he required.
