Bamboo?

I read a toxic plants list and some of my bonsais are on it, but they stay outside. however I do have a decorative bamboo plant and this wasnt on the toxic/safe list so I want to know is it safe?

According to this list, it's safe: Non-toxic for birds list and a list of thngs that are toxic for birds.

However, chemicals might have been used before you got it, so I'd be a little paranoid.

I use bamboo to make play gyms for my guys sometimes. The breeder I got Sophie from actually has bamboo plants growing by all the cages outside for the birds to have them to munch on.

It came from an HEB I think, we got it for a birthday present a few weeks ago. It is out of my linnies reach, but my future conure will be able to reach it when he is on the counter. Its there anything I can do if it has been treated with chemicals?

I had a beautiful bamboo plant. People commented on it.
It is now Jack's. He plays in it and eats it. It's not beautiful anymore, but that's ok. According to him, everything is his anyway.

Decorative bamboo ya say? if its the so called lucky bamboo that comes in the little chinese ceramic, its not real bamboo, and is in fact poison, see monicas definition in diy forum under bamboo.
