The Bird Store (w/images)

These were taken a couple weeks back (on two visits), and just wanted to share them with you all!

The store often boards birds, such as this beautiful harlequin (hope that's right!)


There's also Jony who has been passed down 3 generations in his family and is somewhere around 55 years old!


There was a beautiful chattering lory there


And even a couple gold caps, which their screams remind me that of a suns... LOUD!



I really enjoyed visiting with Taz, who is such a sweetie, and loves to say "peek a boo" to get someones attention! Such a sweet cuddly doll!


Or even Dundee, who is so cute!!! If I were to get a cockatoo, one like Dundee would be my first choice (or maybe an umbie too, but only cause of Taz!!!!) They are terribly sweet birds! Dundee is owned by one of the employees there.



And the infamous Blue Jeans, who I had a good visit with, however decided that she didn't like staying on her gym and well, had a fit! She wanted attention and well she's not exactly easy to get off (she obeys her owner, but when it comes to anyone else, she becomes a cling on! )

There's also Calypso, another one of the store owners pets... such a goofy bird!




And of course, there are many other wonderful and gorgeous birds there! They've got quite a few babies, mainly quakers last time I was there, 2 were blues. They had a baby greenwing, some baby goffins, an umbie, some caiques among a few other types of babies!

Thanks! It's a wonderful store! And some of the birds there (even if they are boarders) are fun to handle and talk to! It's the best petstore (dealing with birds only, of course!) that I know of in this area!

I was at that pet store five years ago and the Hy took a liking to my hubby.
The Golden Cockatoo, Now that is one heck of a bird store! I love that place.
