Check out this Butt!

Stirling has one grey feather in his butt.
Coming from plucking rather badly, to almost perfect, he's done a great job with learning to leave his beautiful feathers alone.
Yes, Stirling has silver tips on his tail. He was DNA'd Male by Avian Biotech!

He looks great. ~ silly tail feather (kind of cool looking tho)

this is the second time since 03 that he let his tail grow in, and it is the second grey feather to show up. The first one didnt last long for he yanked it out as he did all the others.


Andrew, yep....Guess the only way to find out if Avian Biotech is wrong, is if Stirling lays an egg one day, however He is over 20, and has not yet.

Hey Lisa, you're doing a grey't job with that bird! I have just noticed that Angel is growing in a grey feather in her red tail too. Hers is just a tiny feather now, but I wonder if it will get to be a longer larger one as she matures. She's 5 years old now.

Hmmm...I don't know about her, but I've sure got a few extras from him. lol(Only my hairdresser and Loreal will know for sure. )
