Well Nancy, that's sort of hard to say. I have a hard time figuring him out. He's friendly to others in that he's not aggressive, nor is he panicky. More reserved, I guess. He's only five months old, and previously knew only his breeder mom and her two young boys (eight and nine). He was housed with his sister, and was in a cage on the porch away from much human traffic. She never did any step up training with him either.

I know Red Bellieds have a reputation for being one person birds, and I think it would have been easier had I gotten him a bit younger. That said, he seems to be bonding more to me all the time. He'll have been here only two weeks Friday, so its still early days, after all.
