Talking A Sketchy pastime - For Irish & KatyKat314

Got bit by the artistic bug today.
Did a bunch of quick pencil sketches on various subjects.
I couldn't resist doing a couple of the pictures that have been posted recently.

I managed to get 2 of the sketches scanned into my machine, but now the dang 'puter keeps giving BSOD's whenever I access the flatbed scanner!!!!
So the ones I did of our Petey aren't scanned in yet.
Irish & KatyKat314 I hope ya like these.
Sorry, they're just the pencil versions for now.

Hmmmmm.....
maybe I'll do a Cockatoo next
but who's will it be?
Any volunteers with a good clear pic??

Nice work... I think that next to Miro Bob is the next most drawn bird on BirdBoard... He poses well!

Bueteo and Andrew:

Wow! I had no idea so much talent was on this board. Bravo.

Andrew, you once offered to sketch one of my birds. Does the offer still stand? I have a shot of Eenie, my GW, preening that I'd love to have rendered in charcoal.

A little better one would be helpful - and bigger too please...
Aree's a Brownhead Poicephalus, correct?
The glare from the window in the background wipes out the details in Aree's face.
(Your Aree pic in your sig is nice & clear...it would be better if Aree was lookin at the camera, rather than looking at the base of the stand though.)

find one & slap it on as an attachment to the post would be easiest.

Yes, he does (Miro's a sweety too!). I just couldn't resist doing that one shot of Bob from his party.

That is a great shot... I'd LOVE to draw it :)

Might not get to it for a while, though- Next month when I am on my ship I will have time for sure!

Of all birds I picked I picked the one that gave me the hardest time sketch wise the good ol'Grey. :) Time to get out of my art rut and pick up on it again.

Well, the picture in my signature is on another computer. I have a lot like it, where she is looking at the camera. I just took these a few minutes ago. Are they any better?

Edit: Yes, she is a brown head
