help i dont know wut to feed my baby finch

i hav a zebra finch about 12 days old i found at a train station and i dont know wut to feed it. its too late to go and buy the baby formula right now so i didnt know if there was nething else i could do. if somebody could respond back that would be great

Do you have any yogurt or cream of wheat? Water down and feed through eyedropper. Finch a pretty small...are you sure it is a baby?

ty for ur help im sure he a baby it cant stand on perches u can see the feathers coming in and its eyes r closed. i used to hav finches lol just parents to take care of the young

Have you been able to get to the store for formula? An older bird breader once told me that before baby bird formula was readily available they used to make their own. He told me his recipe but all I can remember was that the base of the formula was gerber baby cereal -- the kind that comes in a box and you add water. I'm sorry that I don't remember what else was in it.
