Bella's Gift from Auntie Lisa!

Lisa, Bella sends her thanks for her gift! Kathie was able to find it, and well it's all in Bella's hand with that 1/2 feeding. She can take her time so I can get the stuff in the cage. Here's some pictures of her from today's visit.

















Bella was persistant about climbing up my shoulder today, but I found out she really wanted to enjoy looking out at the world outside BP.

I love her little "spots"!!! Her tail is a lot redder (if that's a word) than Spencer's tail was. He's lost the red feather, though.... now that he's molting.

I've asked her a few times if she has some Congo in her family. She never has an answer for that one. But I love how nothing scares her and in her mind she's as big as a Greenwing. I hope you saw the blue-throated macaws!

I did see the blue-throats. But, I was more interested in the GWs. The baby I got to play with was so sweet. But, don't get me started right now.

That was really sweet Lisa! I just love her little baby face, she's adorable! If I still lived in PA I would make a trip over, been meaning to for the past year or so to meet some friends, but never did get over.

I was eyeballing the red-fronted macaws and made friends with a B&G. One of those will be in the far distant future. I hope you got to meet the resident M2 Sunny! This macaw thing I definately blame on Kathie!

Adorable pix! A friend of mine just got a 9 y/o TAG, and it's the cutest thing! Sooooo tiny. They amaze me :-).

EEEEEEEEEEEEZY on the macaw front their lady! They are big babies in a big bird body. Next time I have Bob in (my B&G), you'll have to put him on his back just like Bella. And you have to admit that Sunny, the M2, is a sweet little bird! The pics are great. Auntie Lisa knows how to pick out toys... and fortunately Bella is not intimidated by anything! I really think you need a tiara for her. Bella: "Oh, it's for ME??? I'll take it RIGHT NOW!" Talk about high maintenance!

I'm falling for the macaws. I always did like them and they're a blast to watch when there's a bunch of them! Theere was B&G that was standing on one of the GW's that the one who mushed all over me. He wanted scritches while still standing on the GW. Sunny is a sweet bird, and I talk to him after Bella's gotten her formula. I just hope he gets a forever home! She's a bit runny after that so I put her on the nice PVC stand to snack/poop and give Sunny a little company.
