I'm Not Messy

I try to eat an apple every afternoon. I enjoy sharing this apple with Pumpkin. He sits on me while we eat. I take a bite, he takes a nibble, I take a bite, he takes a nibble. We go on this way until the apple is finished. The other day, we did this and I look down and there are apple pieces all over me. All I said was, "You're so messy." Seems Pumpkin got mad and he bit my lip. It hurt and I was confused, so I tested my idea that he didn't like being called messy. I said it again, "You're so messy." And, he charged me. Then, this kinda tickled me since I became fast enough to block him. We were playing hide and go seek and he was hiding behind the pillow, I said, "You're so messy." and he came running from behind the pillow and tried to bite me. Again, I was able to block him. I'll stop calling him messy.
