New addition!!
Yeappers!!! Ever since Sweet Pea passed on to the rainbow bridge, I have been keeping an eye out for the "perfect" new member of my flock. It's almost been a year since her passing, and I thought I would never find that perfect someone... until today...
I ran into PetSmart to grab some treats for Gummy and Lily since they were so good at the boyfriend's house.... lol.... well.. not really... my boyfriend is not a bird person at all.... so he merely changed their food and water bowl a few times a day.... Well.. he told me "your birds ate my blinds" and I thought he was kidding.... since he thought it was funny to tell me that by "accident" my birds "flew away." Then when I got upset, he was like.. "Im just kidding... but sheesh... you love your birds more than me?" And when I answered truthfully...he was pissed!!! He couldn't see why I can love a "BIRD" more than a human.... Yeah anyways... my birds are like my kids.... no one gets in between us.... lol Good thing he learns now rather than later.... lol anyways... my bird DID chew up his blinds really good.... it was pretty amazing... the damage the little ones can do to his room..... he's a great supervisor eh??? In reality... I think he's scared of my little birdies... lol Back on topic... sorry for rambling... lol... I know you birdie people will see that I am right... lol Well... at the birdie store, there was this little lone blue masked lovie, and there she was cuddled in the mirror.... I asked if she was tamed, and of course she wasn't.... so I asked if her wings were clipped... and they were.... So I took her out....and there she was... cupped in my hands.... a few nibbles here and there... but nothing like we all know lovies are capable of.... So I sat down... with her cuddling against me.... and as the sales girl was talking to me... there she was.... trying her bestest to climb into that little valley that is my clevage... (I was wearing a tank top...) so there this little blue thing was...trying her hardest to climb into that little nook..... and I didnt even realize it...the sale girls did... The girls were so amazed that this little thing was pretending like she was tamed already cuddling with me... I mean... how can I put her down... RIght then when I was filling out the paper work.... My boyfriend called me to see what I was doing.... and I just merely told him that I picked up a friend... lol I can't wait to see the look on little Lily and Gummy's face when they see her... Trying to think of a new name for her.... I was thinking carrot stixx? what do you think? oh yeah.. pictures... almost forgot... Kind of bad pictures... but you know I'll post some new ones when I get a chance.... Here's carrot stixx looking intrigued at the computer screen.  And here she is being man handled.... (You don't understand.... as soon as I said she was tamed.. she ran under the bed and stayed there for a bit... lol)

Beautiful coloring! Guess she reminded you of SweetPea. Can't wait to hear what Lilly and Gummy think of her. Wait a minute -- you didn't mention Angel...... is Angel still with you? Good Luck with your new addition to the flock.

of course angel is still with me! lol she doesnt care too much about hte little ones... she pretty much ignores them or yells at them to "shut up" ha haha
and even after quarantine, because of the size difference, they still wont get much interactions... lol... hopefully the little ones can all get along... otherwise it's time to buy a new cage for her... lol
