Ladies and Gents, we have a name!
The baby has a name! If you check the sig, you'll see it :-). It "basically" means a dance/festival/party. S/he's my party babe! Dance, li'l baby, dance.
 Edit: Ooops! Forgot to add that it's pronounced "KAY-lee".

Thanks, Nancy--I think s/he's gorgous, too! And VERY playful and fun. I love him to bits :-).
Amber, we sent the DNA paperwork off in yesterday's 7 am mail (went to the main post office, 'cause they have earlier pick up times). Deb seems to think we'll know by Wednesday. I hope so! Can't figure out whether to call "him" him, or her! LOL!

Excellent name! Being near to the maritime provinces, we're very familiar with the term. Nova Scotia and Cape Breton are famous for their Ceilidhs! They also call them "kitchen parties", and they always involve fun, food, celtic fiddling and dancing. Rumor has it that sometimes strong spirits are required to keep one's strength up till the wee hours!

Thank you for the blessing, Quito :-). That's very fitting for a new baby! My favorite is one of my email signatures:
May God in His wisdom and infinite love look down on you always from Heaven above. May He bring you good fortune, contentment and peace, and may all of your blessings forever increase. One fun thing about one of my website domains is that every time you reload the front page, you get a different Irish blessing :-). My husband is from Scotland, so of course we've been to our fair share of ceilidhs! They're always so much fun! I had this name picked out for a cockatoo egg a friend's female laid, once (infertile), who would have grown up to be a handsome, dancing Mobrella if it had hatched. Since I'll never have another cockatoo (allergies--bad ones!), I think the perfect bird for a happy, joyous name like that just HAS to be a Scarlet macaw :-).
