How I Spent My Afternoon....
With baby Ceilidh, of course! Here's some pix of him/her being adorable :-).
Pic #1: Resting on the back of the sofa, snuggling into my shoulder. Pic #2: Playing with a popsicle stick in his playpen. #3, #4: Muchin' on an apricot. Pic #5: At the Hut, playing with his/her buddy, Pico. Once Ceilidh woke up from a 3 hour nap, there was no looking back--s/he was on a mission to PLAY!

But, that's just a little one.........for now!  What a cutie pie!! I'm a heck of a lot closer, guess I could do a quick trip over and fidnap that little rainbow ball of feathers!

It's a lot more fun than I had today.
As a bit of background, among my father's many health probs is Arterial Disease (for which he's on blood thinners). Anyway, my Dad has this small 1/4" reddish growth spot on his left cheek. While he was shaving this morning, he nicked it. Now I gotta tell ya, he was using an electric razor and just ticked the bump with the trimmer edge. The sucker bled like faucet for over an hour & a half! I had to take him into the doctor for a chemical cauterization of it. I get him back home and it started bleeding again!!! The Dr. had given me a couple more S.N. stix in case it reopened. Another 20 mins later and I got it stopped again. The hardest thing is trying to convince him to take it easy.  He's got an arterial blockage in his neck and the reduced bloodflow has affected his short term memory considerably.  Ask him what he did when he was 12 and he can tell ya no trouble at all. Ask him what happened this morning and he's completely lost. The Chaos never stops, it only gets more intricate.
