Red Is My Favorite Color!
And I got to see a lot of it at the Bird Hut today. Not just my own Ceilidh and Deb's Pico, but also our friends Amber and Lance's beautiful boys, Jack and Seymour. What a riot!!
Here are some pix. I hope you enjoy them.  First pic is Ceilidh, age 9 weeks, as comparison for last week the day he came home :-). Second pic is Ceilidh (left), Pico (lower right) and Jack (upper right). Jack's not a very big boy, but he has a great heart. He loves babies! Third pic is Ceilidh (left), Pico (lower right), Jack (upper middle) and Seymour (right). Fourth pic is Pico playing on his back with Jack. Pic number 5 is Jack being a silly bat bird :-).

LOVE THE PICS!! Keep 'em comin'!!! So who is laying on their side in the one picture? I just love watching baby macaws play. Bird are gorgeous. Is this The Bird Hut? Looks like a beautiful store!

Oh I wish I made it in today. I was going to bring Kona in today. But my little brother had to go in and get stitches. Next sunday Ill be there though, I might try to come in tomorow night, but not sure what tomorow will bring. Looks like today was a fun filled one at the bird hut!

Parrotlover, it was an awesome day! I haven't seen Jackie or Seymour since they were purchased. They were two of my own favorites, and I loved getting to see them again. Lance and Amber are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet, too. I could do with seeing more of them, even though they visit the Hut fairly frequently to get stuff for "the Boys".
Kathie, that was Pico on his back, playing with his big brother, Jack. Jack and Pico are full siblings from different clutches. Whether Jack is a "he" or a "she" is a mystery, 'cause he (we all call him a "he") hasn't been DNA'd, so I don't know if Pico has a big brother or a big sister in Jack. He certainly has a friend, as Jack LOVES his baby sibling :-).

Are you planning on taking Ceilidh on feedings, or waiting until he is weaned?

-sigh- gorgeous birds! I would -love- to own a macaw but we live in an apartment and I don't know how loud a macaw would get. but they are always nice to look at!
