Einstein is 5 weeks!

Baby Einstein is 5 weeks old and will be coming out of the nest this weekend so I will get to go see him soon! We cannot wait. In the picture of him and his sister he is on the left.

The pictures your breeder sends are Magnificant!
you sould print them out for a baby book. I also like the idea she is putting the harness on him for you....You can tell just how loved that baby is, not only by YOU, but by the breeder...
thanks for posting them!!

Lisa B - Ditto on the girl pic..I am so thankful I have a boy albeit a little to "in love" with Mom but hey what can you do..(lol).

Jen - Your baby looks fantastic & I just love the little stubby butt. Those tail feathers will be coming in before long now. Also, Jen just so you know when you get your Alblum from Mary B. it will have all the pics & first wing clip feathers. However, the only thing I regret is not printing out her written commentary on the first 16 weeks of development. Just so you know that commentary isn't in the Alblum.

Congrats again & keep the pics coming.

Adorable pix! As for the boy vs. girl thing--all the best males know when to keep their mouths shut :-).

Thanks for all of the compliments! I talked to my breeder today and she said that Einstein is very mellow and easy to work with. And that he is not fussy and will eat anything~! His sister Riley is a little fussy about food but she is also laid back. They are learning to be harnessed and have flight suits put on as well as all the other basic commands. She teaches them to step up, flap on command, towel training, wing and nail clips without restraint, and various other things. The breeder truely is passionate about the birds and their care.
