Look Like they are having fun!
You can bathe your small bird in many ways: 1-You can mist her lightly with a clean spray bottle filled with warm water only. OR 2- you can allow her to bathe in the kitchen or bathroom sink under a slow stream of water. Some birds prefer to bathe on their cages, either in a small flat saucer of warm water...

LOL! So true, CBL! It's the funniest thing in the world watching Eddie bathe in his water dish!
Zoe looks like she's having the time of her life in the sink! I know how it goes with the mess. After the fids have their showers, the whole bathroom is drenched (and me)!

I throw them in the toilet, close the lid and flush a few times. They come out clean as a whistle.

Oh Jeff! I don't think my macaw will fit in my toilet!! Too funny! I have a pair of Russian torts too! I made them a huge pen outside. Do you hibernate yours?

Judi,
I also have a pair of torts. Zippy just happened to be having a nap when I soaked Zero. As far as hibernating them, I have not done either one yet. Zippy had a bad respiratory infection when I rescued her from a dirty old tank in the pet store and even though I quarantined her from Zero, she ended up getting sick too somehow. That was last summer so this summer is one year they have been healthy and I am thinking about doing it this winter. Not sure I can go that long without seeing their cute little faces though.

They are cute! I'm not sure yet either if I will or not. I might just build a tortoise table for them in the garage for the winter since I have to bring in my sulcatta too. There's a Reptile show here in November I plan on going to, I would like to find another girl. They say you should have more than one so as not to stress the one female out. At least with 2 girls you don't have to worry about them laying eggs but I want to breed mine next year or whenever they get the notion! I have a redfoot on the other side of their pen and boxies arcoss the way from them. It takes me 20 minutes in the morning making everyone salads! Between them and the birds they definitely eat better than me!
