Lil' road trip?

Hey everyone.

I'm going to my mom's today- about a ten minute drive from here to clean up my room. I came home from Ontario yesterday, and my birds were all really happy to see me. I was just wondering if it would be TOO much stress to bring them over to my mom's while I clean my room?

I've heard of people bringing birds on errands just to get them used to the car and carrier, and that's what i'd be doing.

Maya/Pc/Indy/Aimes is really good with change right now, as he is still a baby. Aree has had a lot of stress on her back, but is pretty good with coping.

Do you think it would be ok for me to bring them along?

I bring Pumpkin, my quaker, all over. I bring him to my mom's at least 3-4 times a week. The trip is about an hour drive and he loves it. Then, loves all the attention he gets when we get there.

I take Ollie everywhere with me...I figure its good to get her used to situations and possibly introduce her to a little stress while she is younger, that way we can hopefully avoid any potential plucking issues as she gets older. Its always better to start when they're young. I say take them!

I think that if you can take them it would be a good idea.
Does your Mom have a cat or dog?
Do you have a travel cage so they don't slow down the cleaning time & have a safe spot to go to? If not perhaps you should look into a cage for that room too.
Hope your trip to ON was fun.
