I was just sitting here in the dry desert and checking the latest on the hurricanes. I hope everyone on the Carolina coasts is safe from Ernesto and the folks further north are prepared for the rain and crap that is coming. Be Safe.

I certainly wish I could send some your way as it is really started to get scary here. It has been raining all night but now it is sheeting down with the strong winds. Trees are down all over the city and power is out also. The eye isn't suppose to get here till 8 tonite.

I was hoping that the storm would lessen. NY is supposed to have rain all weekend. What a crappy way to end the summer.

I was lucky. We did'nt get much from Ernesto. I hope everyone up north is okay. It seems like he got stronger as he moved north.

I heard my sister in Cape May, NJ has been without power from the storms. They were supposed to get it restored today but I haven't heard yet.

Well, here I sit reading this freaking out. Is Pennsylvania going to get hit with any strong winds?? Hopefully the mountains will slow'em down. So far we only had rain, actually a soft drizzle type of rain that lasted 2 days. Maybe that's all we're getting??? I don't know.

I'll be prepared to take cover just in case!!

Ernesto has long passed PA. He hung around Philly for a bit and boy were those some nice winds...I loved it though, but after a week of rain I needed my sunshine! We didn't loose power, but it got a bit chilly. I'm glad it got to be nice for the remainder of the weekend. I'll take Bella out in her aviator harness tomorrow.
