Look closer...the bread is baked in a tiny ice cream cone.
Not sure of all that's in them...corn meal, grains, nuts ?

Here is her profile.

I remember her threads about the Irn - what a lovely person. I think the ice-cream cone is a great idea! I guess you could make your own if you had a waffle-like maker??

I really have to get motivated – I have to make budgie sized stuff & very small portions – guess you guys that have to cook big bird meals aren’t too sorry for my problems.

What's in Gini's BIRDIEBREAD

Hi all-Thanks for all the nice things you are saying. The IRN, Tinkerbell, is doing great in her new home and my next foster IRN, Poppi, is no longer barbering and looks fantastic-He was adopted by a FWCAS member. His new best friend is a very chatty Lory. His before pic is on my BIRDIEBREAD site on EBAY.

As for BIRDIEBREAD, almost all ingredients are organic, eggs, orange juice, veggies, beanies, hot peppers. All ingredients are human grade and I also use a high grade fruity seed mash in both veggie and hot pepper.
If your fid has allergies, please email me and I will tell you if there is a problem with eating Birdiebread but, in 2 yrs, only one person has come forth requesting I use organic baking powder in their order.

There are many mixes and recipes available for birdie breads, but I got lucky and found one that every bird I offer it to likes-which is why I trademarked the recipes and cones/mini-muffins. I also discovered that making BIRDIEBREAD for just three cockatiels took just as much time and effort as making it for 20 birds. Most of my friends work 9-5 jobs, 2 jobs, have busy families or have just 1 or 2 birds or just don't want to be bothered making it any more than they want to make dog bones for their dogs. So I make "BIRDIEBREAD for the FIDS of Indulgent Pet Parents".

Since I work from my home office as a Realtor, I can pop in a fresh batch of BIRDIEBREAD and keep doing my computer research work. Lynjupiter asked me to come up with Baby BIRDIEBREAD last spring when we were taking in so many Quaker baby rescues so I worked with organic babyfood and whipped organic veggies and that seemed to go over very well with canaries and finches also.

I expect I will have the full website up sometime this week. Grandma is actually helping me work through my computer glitches. On it I will have a page for Avian and Canine Friendly properties, which I will update and expand in other states that I am familiar with. With all the crazy legislation and "bad dog laws", a lot of people are having to relocate or give up their pets. I am very active on Dogster.com also. Fortunately, my Annie is the sweetest, calmest, most obedient dog I've ever had. However, my Zoya, a Chow/shepherd, who passed last year, was a wonderful guard dog who kept us safe for 13 yrs but got a bad rap even though she never bit anybody. So this gives me the opportunity to combine my love of pets and animal rights advocacy with the satisfaction finding the right home for folks with specific needs. It is a fun way to make a living!

Talking HOLIDAY SPECIAL and More

Hi-We're still working on the website but , in the meantime, I have a sale ending today on Ebay. Item number: 200052848607

If anyone is interested, I am having a Holiday Special of 3 DOZEN Cones for $25 plus $6 shipping

You can mix and match Veggie, Beanie or Hot Pepper anyway you like. If you want to pay by cc-I have Paypal on Ebay (until we get the website set up) otherwise, I will be happy to accept a MO mailed directly to me, as usual.

Of course, you can also order single bags for $6.99 plus $6 S&H; 1-3 bags (which is really shipping Priority mail plus tracking). Shipping goes to $9 for Flat Rate USPS shipping for 4-20 bags. Any questions, email me!

Quite a few of you have ordered now so I'm looking for the pictures of those FIDs munching down on BIRDIEBREAD to put on the website!

Hi-Yes, You can mix and match, 1 doz of each Veggie, Beanie, Hot Pepper or 3 doz Hot Pepper- whatever you would like. I also figured out how to just invoice from Paypal without going through Ebay so I can do that also now. I'm baking tonight and tomorrow and it usually only takes 2 days to get to GA. My daughter lives in Alpharetta so I'm planning on doing the GA Bird Fairs next year, at least the ones in the N. Atlanta areas. Thanks for your interest in BIRDIEBREAD-Homemade and Avian Approved!
