WHEW! Busy Girl here!

Between my new job, birds, dogs, holidays, family, I have been busy!!!! I thought I would take a minute and give everyone an update.

Whiteboy is living with my Son and his Wife. He seems very happy. My Son taught him to grab his finger with his beak and pull himself up! They love him! They have some of Lee's tiels as well. They all get to play out of their cages a lot there. It is good!

Lukey loves me. When I pick her up, she tries to feed me. She hates my Hubby and will go to great lengths, to get a bite. She is saying some new stuff, but I can't make it out yet. She still calls me Nay-Nay. When she wants out, she says "Nay-Nay Step up".

The finches have grown in all their feathers and look great. The canary sings a lot, so I guess they are all happy. I am looking around for a male finch or 2. I think that would make them REAL happy.

The Tiels have all been adopted out. They are all doing well in their new homes. They went in pairs, so they still have their chosen mate with them.

Maxie is jealous of Lukey and lets me know about it, when I am giving Lukey some attention. It is breeding season for her so I look for her to settle down in a bit. I can't walk into the room without her panting at me. She got angry at my Mom yesterday because Mom had on a neck scarf and Maxie thought it was HERS! She is a very spoiled little girl.

Stella had plucked a little because the Tiels made her nervous. She is doing fine now. She LOVES her Daddy and has been watching Maxie give hugs... She decided that looked ALLRIGHT! She has been snuggling with her Daddy. Funny how they learn from each other.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas!!! I am working on a project right now, so if I don't get to post again, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Thanks everyone! Maxie is spoiled as ever sparkysmom. Sitting in my lap right now, head down in her blankie, butt up. LOL

ROYJOY congradulations on your new GW!!!! I got to hold one at a bird show Lee and I went to last summer. They sure have BIG beaks. LOL I was catching a case of MBS back then. They sure are pretty. If you get to Indiana, you will have to stop by and let me play with her!!!

With all the birds here, I invested in 2 Honeywell air cleaners. They work GREAT!!! Whiteboy is a very dusty bird. lol I don't know why, but Maxie is not nearly as dusty. I am grateful for that. (The GW made me think of that) LOL

I couldnt help but notice your signature...you have FOUR German Shepherds? My brother brought home one two weeks ago, a rescued puppy that was going to be shot, and she is sooo amazing! I can tell why people love them.

RenRobinINC, I think German Shepherds are the best dogs ever!!! They are soooo easy to train. I ran out of tricks to teach my male dog.... I breed them a little, I have 3 pups left, for sale right now. They are going to be my last litter. I am getting Lillith spayed. Our other female is already spayed. I bought Dan's/Lee's aviary for a kennel/avairy.
