Christmas gifts for fids.

If you could get your fid anything for the holidays this year, what would you get? And, if money wasn't an issue....

if someone already posed a question like this, let me know, because I obviously missed it!

I'd get my Bindy a huge "tree" that I could put in a corner and let her crawl around on. I'm currently making a temporary one out of 1/2 inch PVC pipe and vet wrap

I'd like to replace all of my powder coated cages with stainless steel. I'm going to do that one cage at a time over the next few years. I wish I'd done it in the first place.

If money were no object, I would like some kind of outdoor aviary attachment onto my window that was wired to allow the birds to go in and out at will (like cat doors can be programmed to only allow the house cat insede). It would also have to be burglar proof which is the main reason I don't have one now. I don't see how to attach it to the window in a way that wouldn't jeopardize my home security. It would also have to be secure from the neighbor's cats who come into my backyard. I would love to see pics of such a thing if anyone has them.

Otherwise, this year they will get more toys and I might make a PVC playpen with ropes twisted around the PVC for better footing.

I would love to have an indoor/outdoor aviary, one for the smaller fids, and one for Noel and the tiel(s). That's plus lots of toys that they would play with and chew up!

A screened porch.
Cory just got a new cage over the summer, so I swore I wasn't getting anyone Christmas gifts, then I dropped $60.00 at the Pet Stock Room yesterday.

I would get a whole adventure playroom for Humphrey, with an outdoor aviary/flight attached, plus a parrot door so he could go in and out as he pleases. My husband and I have already laid in bed in the dark (where we have a lot of conversations) talking about what we'd do if we won the lottery. It's funny - most of the stuff we talk about is what we'd get for Humphrey!

I love the idea of a screened porch. I have the kids in front of a big window now and they really enjoy looking out.
