Surprise!
I went to the bird store to buy a new perch, but here's what I found:
 She hatched June 10 (which, incidentally, is the date I moved to Washington). She is so sweet. After a lot of agonizing, I put a deposit on her. Aaron and I have decided to do it. I haven't felt this way about a bird since I met Togo. We just clicked. Now the only issue is convincing mother that another bird is not the end of the world and I'll be moving out eventually and blah, blah, blah. I think she's going with me tomorrow to meet the bird, which is a good sign. Who can resist this:
