If he's young, your finger probably reminds him of the syringe the breeder used to feed him... it's probably comforting to him :) My lory will do the same thing with my fingers if I let her.
My conure will also "massage" his head with his foot, haha. I can't help but laugh at him when he does it. He looks almost like he's doing an Excedrin commercial, haha!

aww that sounds really cute! my conure likes to suck on my fingers too. another thing he does that is even cuter is if i wiggle my tongue at him (like stick it out) he will reach in and kiss my lips..... (yes i do know that human salivia is bad for birds so i try not to actually touch his beak with my lips)

Yeah, he's young. He's only about 4 1/2 months old. I'm still hand feeding him once a day at night. He was on 40 cc's but now he only wants about 30 so thats progress. Thats what it looks like, a headache commerical.
I stuck my tongue out at him once or twice but when I did he would stick his out & try to touch mine. My Sun Conure tries to open my mouth. If I refuse, she will just grab my lip & pull my mouth open. I think she's looking for food.
