HVAC sanitizer
Has anyone out there ever had your home hvac ducts cleaned out? I just had it done to prep for a new media air filter and humidifier to be put on the system with a UV light to obtain hospital grade air in here. It smelled weird so they said thay had a sanitizer that was non toxic that gets applied to the coils. Product is BBJ Microbiocide. My system is not on so please, no one freak out! All of my fids are fine. I plan to take them out of the house and run the sytem until any odors are gone. Any feed back? I was more worried that my system might be sick and wanted to detox it so I had to do something.

Leigh - I would repost this under "help with your bird" or "emergency response." I don't know the answer, but maybe someone else does. It may be better noticed under those two categories. There is also a vet on board, Dr. Ford - maybe he would be able to help.
