Very cute bird! Welcome, Artemis :-). Shows how little I know about small green birds--I thought he was a Quaker! LOL!

Hi there guys,
Sorry for the no reply to you all, have been having computer trouble for the last week or so, no net, no nothing. Thanks for all the compliments guys. When the pic first came through on the email and I saw him for the first time I instantly fell in love, kinda the same way as with my girlfriend. He was just so adorable, so little and helpless, and when I finally get him home he will have all of his feathers and be independant and flying around no longer little and helpless but big and beautiful. AWWWWWWWWW I CANT WAIT. Only a few more weeks to go untill he is home. I guess I had better get out and buy him a cage and toys and stuff soon. I already have plenty of chewing wood to make chew toys out of, and lots of them, because boy do these guys love to chew. AUSSIE_GIRL I could probably help you out there if you wanted me to ask for you. the price will be $300.00 - $250.00 for the bird and $50.00 for freight via plane anywhere in Australia. The Breeder is in Adelaide and he really does do a great job with his birds, I saw him when I was back in Adelaide for a week and that is where I got my first glimpse of an Alex and I fell in love. He rears them brilliantly and he turns them into the most delightful pet. He gave me a few people to get in contact with that he had reared Alex's for to ask what they were like as a pet and they all said that the breeder (I wont mention any names just yet) does the best job at rearing them and he turns out the greatest pets they have ever had or seen and he really does have a passion for it and is in no way in it for the money, he does it for the delight on peoples faces when they get their new companion. So let me know via PM AUSSIE_GIRL an I will see what I can do. Anyway people as soon as I get more photos of Artemis The Alex I will bump this thread back up so you can all take a look at how he has grown. Cya guys
