Is Kitt still at the birdstore? I thought he was home already. He looks like a larger Jardine than I've seen before. Really pretty.

Poicephalus gulielmi gulielmi (Black Wing) Is usually a large bird but some examples can be somewhat smaller. It has lots of color of red/orange to red, a large beak and the back of its wings can be described as practically black in adult plumage.

Poicephalus gulielmi fantiensis (lessers) Is like the gulielmi but is a lot smaller bird and the color is more orange/yellow than red. I have seen smallish gulielmi's but never large fantiensis!!

Poicephalus gulielmi massaicus (greaters) Is a different shaped bird altogether with less color, with the wings having large green margins. Usually just a small band of red above the cere of no more than 7mm.
