First Words.....

I think Tristan had her first words (so to speak) this morning. When I went to set her down on her cage door, she kinda stumbled and missed the door. Right after it happened, she said "ut oh". Which of course prompted Spencer to say it as well!!! She then mumbled something that sounded like "gimme a kiss" followed by the kissing sound. And I'm hearing mumbles that sound like "peak-a-boo" as well!!!

She has turned into such a wonderful bird. She loves to cuddle (I REALLY hope she doesn't lose this as she gets older). She gives the sweetest little kisses. But, then there's the flip side...... where she will "sneak" up on me and jump on my head if I'm not looking!!! Either way, she's so much fun to have around!!! Just like her big brother (who's still learning new words). Lately, I've been telling him that he's bi-lingual. He's talking in complete sentences, but I have NO IDEA what he's saying. I think he's just making up his own words now.

Congrats, Don! Just wait till Tristan and Spencer start having conversations between themselves......about you!! That's hilarious about Spencer making up his own words, I think Tausi does the same thing. He says "hello" and "good boy" really well, and does a fair job with "what you doing?", but I often hear him mumbling something that I can't quite make sense of.

COngrats. Thats great! My fids carry on conversations with me, I just have no clue what their saying but I act like i do. Bonita will sit there & mumble & muble for a long time but who knows what language she's speaking. Its not english or spanish I can tell you that. She does say some stuff that I can understand. Some in english & some in spanish. Crystal

Who knows maybe Spencer is speaking another language. I love the little practice talking they do. I just hope Bella keeps that voice for her little laugh.

That's AWESOME!!!!!! I thought I hear Merlin say hi the other day. Last night I heard him laugh a few times. Caesar and Merline talk birdie talk alot though. Before you know it, your house will be like that Budweiser commercial! LOL!!

Tuki and I play the "make this sound game." He will Oooo and I'll do it back and he'll change it up and I'll try to do the new one too.
He's trying to form words...I know they're in there!

I have been playing around with the "video" thing lately. I'll see what I can do about getting it posted. I've also tried to record Spencer when he's going through it words, but as soon as the camera comes out he shuts up.
