Smile Feather Tether

Well, I just purchased a pretty blue feather tether harmess for Triton!! Has anyone ever used this harness before?? I think I will try to put it on him tomorrow, so wish me luck!!

Oh ya I forgot to mention........ Triton's previous owners clipped his wings WELL like ALL the way up his wings!!!!!!!! Is that a big deal or no??????

I have the tether harness for my GCC, but I gave up. He was very frantic with me and I didn't feel like pushing the issue then. I use the flight suit for him now. But again, he is a smaller bird. Maybe a larger bird is easier... well other than the size of the beak...hehe I wish you luck.

I know some people who clip their birds wings way too far. He should be able to do a controlled glide to the floor without dropping like a rock. Does he do this okay? Some birds though fly better than others so how many feathers depend from bird to bird. Nothing you can do about the wing's clipping now, but when the new ones come out you can have it the way you like it.
