 What a beautiful little guy - he looks smaller than a fist however. Maybe a baby fist. I'm glad they acknowledged those poor people who used to inhabit the area & the conservation is hopefully going to make a difference.  Thanks loads for sharing this story & photo.  edit - looks as if Graehstone missed this thread & posted about the same thing today! Last edited by homebird; 10-10-2006 at 05:09 PM.

Looks like a goldfinch with an orange mohawk!!! Really makes ya wonder if we are still discovering new species, how many out there remain undiscovered????
