Haven't noticed this with mine, but I think it's cute! Hmm, I wonder if you could take it as an indication that he'd be a good candidate for clicker training?

My Tag hates balloons. She growls like a dog when a balloon is in the same room.

My girls get all excited, but they are expecting us to share whatever we are opening.

Bug is absolutely adorable! My 20 year old Son has seen him over my shoulder. He is going tomorrow to pick up his own plet!

Ahhh, Grandfids!!!!

Congrats on the grandfid!!!! I can't have kids so I probably won't have grandfids unless I got a mate for one of my fids. Crystal

For Bob, if he thinks it's edible, he's VERY interested in it, no matter what it looks like or what noise it makes. If he doesn't think it's food, he's scared witless of it, and makes a total (and somewhat dangerous, if he's on you) fool of himself trying to get away from it :-).

That is what Paulie does when anyone opens a piece of candy or anything like that around him. He just goes crazy! You described just what Paulie does! For him I thought it was because it might make him think of water running. He likes the sound of running water.
But I'm not sure. I never have given him any paper.

Hey there guys.

My Kikibird, when ever she hears plastic bags, cellophane, lolly wrappers etc, she will start squawking and flapping her wings with excitement. She has her wings clipped so she can not fly over to what ever the noise is and I will not give her any of what is in the wrapper either as I try not to encourage her. Well that was untill I realised that she was never going to stop doing it and it was not all of the time so I started giving her a bit of what ever we had.

She also does it for a glass of cordial. When ever I pour a glass of cordial she will flap and squawk so that she can get a drink of that tasty sweet fruity drink, so I put the glass down to her she sticks her head in and I give her a few little sips and then I go on an drink the rest. BUT she will only do it for cordial, never for water, I guess she can see the colour of the cordial and it excites her and she knows now that it is a sweet treat.
