I couldn't access your picture, but did go on line and viewed one. They are gorgeous - are they in the grass parakeet family? I think we may have them at the store where I work but we call them something else.

Need a permit to keep them here. Theyre numbers are being wiped out by Minor Birds
They have that fine feather that looks like fur, like the Eclectus. and make a love "Briillllll" kind of call. Very quiet. No squawking at all.

Ooooh dont like Minah Birds at all. Dont have any of those. Lived in Sydney and the little buggers used to let themselves into my flat and poop all over the furniture. would come home and find them fossicking through my bathroom and kitchen. Drove me nuts! They dont have a very good reputation in Australia
