Wheatgrass is fine, though not sure about the palm... I guess it would be safe as there are people who use palm fronds for nesting material. I dont have any inside house plants (okay, so well really they are not owned by me, and they usually die...) though Noel and Casey do enjoy chewing on the apple tree we have outside! Especially when there is fruit or flowers!

Wheat grass is good as long as it is organic. I would be hesitant with house plants bought in a store or a greenhouse. The fertilizer and pesticides they use could be very dangerous.
I grow my own little pot of millet and other various seeds that I planted from my bird's food and then I bring the pot in every once in a while for a birdie free for all. Lynda |
