Feathers, after they fell out ...
After your bird has lost a feather and you find it lying at the bottom of the cage or on the floor somewhere, what do you do with them ?
Is there something to do with them ?

Well, I have large birds and am an ex-floral designer. I make vase arrangements and eucalyptus wreaths.

i save them all.. i have them all in a plastic bag.... although, i have a GCC so his feathers are too small to do anything with.. i have no idea what i am saving them for. i just am lol. i guess its like saving a babys hair or teeth lol

For the little birds, you can make bookmarks or use them to embellish letters and cards.

haha crystal your grandma sounds just like my mom. shes the same way.. doesnt throw anything like that away either.. im the same way though. so what if its not gonna serve a purpose! to me, its purpose is sentiment!
