For those that support sanctuaries, Thank You. For those that are curious where to go to provide some type of support to one of these organizations, here's some info. There are lots of others out there and probably one close to you that could use your help, financial or physical.

This is a reminder that Busy's Beaks Matching Toy Drive will end on Tuesday, October 31. The birds of The Oasis want to thank all of you that have taken advantage of this fantastic opportunity to supply them with toys. For those of you that have procrastinated, you only have six days left! If you missed our announcement:

During the entire month of October, when you order any products to be drop shipped to The Oasis Sanctuary, Busy Beaks will match your donation up to $100. In other words ... if you order $25, they will ship our birds $50 in products! You will, of course, receive a tax- deductible receipt for your donation from The Oasis.

If you sponsor an Oasis bird, you can specify that the order is for that bird and Jan at Busy Beaks will put a tag on it with the bird's name. The Oasis staff will make sure that your bird gets his/her toy! If you're unsure what to order, gift certificates are always welcome, and Busy Beaks will match the dollar amount of the gift certificate.

aargh.. I am such a sucker for this stuff. I sponsor a bird in sanctuary at the Gabriel Foundation in Denver, but usually sned $$ every month to other sanctuaries as well. I am such a softie for these poor little guys who need help. I see an order to busy beaks in the near future....

Actually forgot to clarify that Busy Beaks program covers any 501 charitable organization.
