Oscar's first!

Up until now, I haven't been able to get Oscar to eat human food. I made some bacon, eggs and toast last night for a sandwich and gave oscar some of everything, not expecting him to touch it. Then, I go to cover him up last night and he's holding the toast, AND EATING IT! He had also tried everything else (and obviously didn't like, as he had dropped it all on the bottom of his cage)! I know it's not such a big deal that a bird is eating human food, but I haven't been able to get him to eat anything I cook, not even try it! I'M SO PROUD OF HIM!!

That is so awesome! Just get ready - once Ramone got a taste of the good stuff it's kinda been like the little shop of horrors around here! He definately lets me know when it's dinner time! I guess it is true what they say - the way to an amazons heart is through his stomach!

Maui and Manu always want to at least try what I am eating if they happen to be with me and I am eating something. But I won't let them unless it is safe food for birds.

My quaker will only eat people food, my conure wants NOTHING to do with any people food, and my IRN is about half-and-half....Oscar wouldn't even try people food before, he'd just throw it back at me...I'm hoping he'll start to eat more of it now :D
