What flight sim are you running? I haven't used one in quite some time. I used to run Microsoft Flight Sim when I was in flight training. I would load the home area and fly the route before heading out to the airport. It was getting so bad that I wanted to pick up the controls that I found in Flying. Had the yoke/rudder peds from a Mooney. Even had real switches so I wouldn't have to use the keyboard or mouse when running the sim. Never did, but it would have been an interesting addition.
