Severes are TOO smart...

We got one of those acrylic 'treasure chests' at the last bird show- in an attempt to find SOMETHING that would keep this monster occupied for more than 10 seconds. It worked- At first.

But- It was short lived. Within 2 minutes, he figured it out.

And, all you could hear were the shapes dropping to the floor, one by one. Oh well, it was worth a try.

He was SO proud of figuring this one out that he had to show off his 'big wings' trick just to let us know-

I need to find something more challenging... Perhaps he can learn Calculus..

Do your severes 'pose' for the camera like Miro does?? He has been like that since he was a baby- He's a star and he KNOWS it... That's how he got in the Parrots At Play calendar!!

Baby has one of those, and he tries & tries, and works at it for maybe...oh minutes, then gets mad at it, and starts throwing things at me, as if to say...."why didn't you just get me a Rubics Cube!!!"

I've even taken out the wee blocks, and put peanuts in it.....that really does him in...lol
