another one crossed off.

Here goes another type of pellet off the list. Scenic pellets. When they first arrived my birds went nuts for them. Scarfed them all and none went to the bottom of the cage. Now they won't touch them. Benji is deffinately a Roudybush birdie. When he doesn't like the pellets he won't eat anything. If he eats the pellets, he devoirs (sp?) his veggies too. Well he always eats the sprouts no matter what thank goodness!!! Sophie won't even take the time to toss the pellets out of the bowl. Who knows. Maybe one day they will only want the veggie mash.

I could never get Kirby to even try the Scenic pellets. He likes his Harrison's Pepper. Zoey loves the Roudybush and Mazuri. Cosmo - like your Sophie leaves them in his bowl untouched and eats around them. Thankfully he's a little piggy when it comes to fresh foods etc. so his diet isn't all too bad! Skittles will pretty much eat anything and the tiels try pellets every now and again.

Mine are picky. But if I'm eating something they want to try it too. Crystal

sweet potatoes are in all the fresh foods I feed them. I'm really not too worried if they eat the pellets or not. The veggie mash I feed them is awesome stuff all by itself. Their favorite pellet seems to be anything shaped like a cheerio...............lol

Just don't feed Pretty Bird, please. They are the junkiest of the pellets and you don't even want to go there. I don't like any pellets, but those are the worst.

Yazhi is a Roudybush bird. He gets Zupreem too, but oh, if he has Roudybush, that is the first one he eats... No idea why that is.

Of course he will eat his morning muffin first. Then his vege mash. Then his Roudybush. Then last but not least, he will eat Zupreem and whatever else is in his dishes.

At night, he gets Nutriberries in bed. I still need a toy that can hold that stuff so he doesn't keep dropping it to the bottom of his cage from his clumsy feet in his day cage.. so for now he only gets it as a night snack in his night cage.

Thanks Karen!

Never heard of those by Goldenfeast. Looks like I can add those to Max's acrylic treat wheel maze. Currently, I throw nuts, pumpkin seeds & a few cheerios in to give him something to work for. Looks like the Goldenobles could replace the cheerios in the treat wheel.

Yes I have and Zoey and Sophie both loved them. It is one of the ones that are a regular in the rotation. I am trying to find 3 or four total differant types of pellets to rotate around.

Hey Nancy, I tried the Pretty Bird stuff long ago and it was totally ignored. nobody liked it at all.
