I keep all of Ollie's, with the exception of down feathers. I keep them in a zip lock baggie until I have use for them. I have 2 in a shadow box, and one in a keepsake pillow.

I have had Laker for 4 months & he went thru a big molt recently just like you're talking about. Budgies have such little feathers that it seemed silly to keep his feathers but they are what make him my little jewel so of course I kept some.
I liked the idea of a shadow box - I've done some nature ones. At present they are with some other feathers in a small vase. |
