Does anyone else keep.......

Does anyone else keep their birds tails and wings once they molt (or feathers from their first clip)? I kept all the feathers they molted (from my cockatiel to my finches) and the feathers from their first wing clips just so I can have them as reminders of all of them since they had such an impact in my life. I keep mine in a USPS envelope just so they stay safe until I can come up with an idea to keep them in something nice and safe. Where do you guys keep yours?

I haven't kept any. But maybe it would be cute to have like a shadow box or something with a few things in it and some pictures.

I keep all of mine...all the medium to larger feathers...I even have tails from my fist trio of budgies! It's a nice memento to have of a beloved pet that is gone...

I keep all of Ollie's, with the exception of down feathers. I keep them in a zip lock baggie until I have use for them. I have 2 in a shadow box, and one in a keepsake pillow.

I have had Laker for 4 months & he went thru a big molt recently just like you're talking about. Budgies have such little feathers that it seemed silly to keep his feathers but they are what make him my little jewel so of course I kept some.
I liked the idea of a shadow box - I've done some nature ones. At present they are with some other feathers in a small vase.
