Mystery Bird at work today SOLVED!

We get pidgeons and blackbirds in the warehouse often, but today I had left the office door open for a bit and this little dood just came right on in, he stayed for a while too, He let me pick him up, He was very exhausted,
He even let me take a few pics before I released him, Before leaving today I noticed he was up in the ceiling area of the bldg, Lots of bugs for him to eat,
Any body know what type of bird he is???

I second that. It's a gold finch. He's got his winter coloring.

I don't know what it is, but I do know it doesn't look like any goldfinch I've seen. The build isn't like any that come through here.....

Many songbirds can get very tame if they're used to being fed by humans. Chickadees are especially bold. I've never known a goldfinch to be tame enough to allow a human even close to them, though, unless they were injured or ill.

Andres' link looks like a pretty good likeness of the li'l guy to me.
