Crossing States

Another post regarding this ongoing saga of the move from WI to NH

I've gotten great advice here regarding the actual move for the birds, but reading another post about banned Quakers got me thinking about State Laws. I hadn't thought of it at all since we do not have any Quakers, but should I be?

We only have a cockatiel and a conure (GCC). We will be crossing lots of states, but only just passing through and then landing in NH. However... we are only going to be in NH for a month or two and staying with our in-laws (come to find out, our FINAL destination is going to be California where my husband is being relocated too! I'm sure I'll have lots of questions about getting my fids from NH to CA by then, but one thing at a time I guess).

Do you think there are any permits or anything I need to worry about on this type of trip? Thanks so much everyone! :)

I don't think you need any permits for these states.

Nope. I moved 3,000 miles across the country with my animals and had no issues. The only place there are even physical checks for your cargo, are California (fruits) and if you are going over the Hoover Dam and have a trailer, they will check your trailer (a post 9/11 effect)
