I had just had keets before & they weren't touchable so I never knew the love they share till I got Bonita. Then when I got Romeo, he is a major cuddle bug. Nalah loves to cuddle as well. It is truly an amazing feeling. Crystal

How ever did you get that hat on your GCC. That is so adorable! I have a GCC and I can't imagine being able to get a hat on him for the amount of time it takes to capture a picture.

I know the feeling, my green cheek snuggles in my left hand while I try to type with the right. He is the sweetest. He even knows when I am about to leave the house because he recognizes that when I put on a jacket I am about to head out the door. So he climbs down his ladder all the way to the floor and walks over to me. I pick him up and he snuggles in my hand, trying to convince me not to go. He also nips at my fingers because he's mad that I'm leaving. Melts my heart and made it very hard to go to work. Now, even if I'm putting on a sweater for warmth he thinks I'm leaving and we go through the same routine. We truly are blessed to have these loving feathered beings in our lives. I used to be one of those people who thought, "They're just birds." I had no idea. I was looking for a pet that was fun and could cuddle but NEVER thought about a bird until someone told me he had a bird and guided me to a fabulous bird store. I started visiting until I was sure I could make the commitment. It was the best thing I ever did. He's is just the sweetest. When he was just a baby and still syringe feeding, I brought him to my sister's house (she has two kids). He was so concerned that he would fly all around. I assured her that he was clipped and couldn't go far. After the introductions, they all saw how sweet he was. Approximately one year later, they are now bird owners and have discovered how awesome these little guys are.

Its so helpful to know there are others who feel this way. I love all animals. I have a crowd at home, but there is something so special about birds. No one understands except other bird people. They are just so incredible. Caesar was beign such a goofball last night, he has me in tears in was laughing so hard!!! THe best thing I ever did. My parents tell me that too. They now own 3 birds because of me. I got them hooked just by having mine and them coming over and falling in love with them. I guess you can call me a parrot pusher.

Last night I was talking to my Mom on the phone, and she said she hasn't heard me laugh so much in a long time, and it's all because of Pita. She even sent him a get well card when he had his blood feather. But being a mother, she continually tells me I had "better let him know that he can't poop anywhere he wants"....LOL...she just doesn't quite get it, does she...lol

I wish mine listened when I tell them don't poop on me, the floor, etc. LOL
