I don't think it's a good idea to keep parrots in bedrooms..... for various reasons ;-} I don't have the best lungs in the world, so I really do need to keep any sort of dander or smell or anything down in MY sleeping quarters. They visit in there, but generally not more than an hour or two a week total. Also, there are obvious reasons not to keep excellent mimics in the bedroom of a married couple!

My finches are in the livingroom, as are the birds "main" playstands. Their cages are in the birdroom, which also houses a bookshelf, and a player piano & about 200 piano rolls. It really is their room and I have placed linoleum accordingly. I also have a heater in there just for them for chilly nights. They do not get covered. The aviary is on the back porch, right outside the kitchen, and under the deck, for shade.

My birds are in my bedroom. Since I work nights, they have the room to themselves. During the day, they are good about being quiet when I am ready for bed.

Dander is the reason we have a high quality air purifier in the bedroom! The only way to go.

My guys have their own room. a 10x13 room that was a bedroom. We installed a sink and cabinets for convenience. There is a Hepa filter running in there around the clock because I have breathing problems and dusty kids.

Bud has his cage in the dining room, he's in it only when we're not home or sleeping, the rest of the time he's with me. The tiels are in the computer room for now, due to the quarantine issue. Once that's over with, they'll go out in the same room as Bud.

I run a huge Hepa in my birdroom, and a slightly smaller one in my bedroom. The one in the birdroom alone is rated for the whole house, the second is just extra precaution.

Bogart and Scarlett have their own room, so to speak. It is one of the 3 bedrooms in the house and they share it with a treadmill and one of BF's little fish tanks. They do not have free roam of the room as it isn't bird-proofed and there are cats here.

They spend almost all of the time that I'm home, though, on their playstands. Scarlett's is in the kitchen and Bogart's is in the front room.

All my birds are in the "great" room. Aside from covering the budgies some nights when they are making too much noise for me to hear the TV, there are no problems. Most of them go to sleep long before I do!

Tuki's (CAG) cage is in the livingroom right next to the sofa.

My whole house has hardwood flooring, but my dog Bailey is old and has arthritis and can't go up the stairs. So, I have Tuki in the livingroom to be with me during the day & evening watching TV and keeping company with Bailey when I'm not home, or I'm up in bed sleeping.

Bailey sleeps right next to his cage and the night Tuki fell off his perch while sleeping and was freaking out, Bailey barfked to wake me to come help!!!

Gawd with all these birds in your bedrooms, Im thinking you are all early risers, no chance of sleeping in with that kind of company!!

Hector lives in the lounge room or outside on the deck in summer during the day. the rest of the mob have 4 large aviaries outside to reside in. Barnaby will be going in my computer room. I spend most of my nights in there playing Canasta and BF doesnt want him in the same room as Hector in case Hector doesnt like it
